When the summer ends, life around here tends to slow down for most people. The weather gets colder, so people spend even more time inside. Our league is designed to foster an environment of fun, rather than one of competition. There are plenty of leagues out there that are geared towards winning and things like trophies. If it’s about the thrill of competition that drives you, and you need to win to have a good time, then this isn’t the league for you. Our league is different.
The goal of our league is to have fun. Whether you win or lose, it’s more about the fun that you have participating and partaking with other people. Even though we do keep score and season statistics, the whole point is to enjoy getting to come out and play. That is why we feature “recreational games”. We play games like kickball and dodgeball. The games are all co-ed, and we encourage people of all ages and abilities to join.
Know some people who would like to play with you on the same team? Great, you can start your own team. New to the area and don’t know anyone. Great we will find a team to put you on. Trying to get back into being social after taking a layoff due to having a baby, work, being sick… whatever? Awesome. C’mon and join. We have a place for everyone.
The only restriction is you must be at least 21 to play. Other than that, we welcome all comers. Before you join, please be aware that this is a league dedicated to local area improvement through socialization. Our league is designed to give something to both its members and the community. That is why we make every effort possible to use local businesses and companies for goods and services needed for the league. We use local sponsors for our shirts, to host our events, and give money back to the schools that whose facilities we use to play.
We can make a real change for the better, and it can be just by playing kickball and dodgeball! We are the fastest growing organization in Cape May County, now with over 500 members! We have been featured in the Atlantic City Press, The Ocean City Gazette, The Cape May Herald, NBC 40, and various other media!
